it's winter

Hi. Time out time out... so tired of giving time outs! of being in this situation without alternative plan... patience patience. Time is my hope.
In the meantime, today there is snow here in Greece. Never thought Greece gets that cold! but yeap! and mainly because the houses are so badly insulated that your feet and nose are always cold! Can't wait for the Spring.

  1. love to talk about the weather!! wow!! It may be 0C here but in Germany this coming weekend will be close to -30C at night!! yikes!!! funny, scary! I love the cold weather, I actually miss the snow very much, the storms, the wild wind, the ice, the cold starry nights... from inside looking out the window with a hot chocolate and feeling the warmth of heating... weather really is powerful, no control over it, it fascinates me!
stay warm my friends! one simple trick is to cover yourself with a blanket from toes to head, only leaving a little window for air... it works to warm your nose up a little.

  2. Hola.
Sometimes there are signs, a chain of events that puzzle us.... are they a chance? a coincidende? or do they mean something? my stomach and heart are upside down thinking about what happened today... let it be I guess... for now at least.

  3. Hola chicos! let it snow.... :-) I love it! sticking all over fast. I wish there will be enough snow for the kids to build a snow man... or at least to collect in tea cups.
Feeling better today... trying, patience is a virtue.

  4. We built a snowman! yay!!! out in the balcony but it was fun! I think this was the most snow I have ever seen in Greece. Nice.

So, it comes down to Darwin.... adaptation or extinction.... tough but true. Not easy... perhaps adaptation or change right?

  6. Patience is a good thing to have, I wish I had more of it, specially with the kids...Love the way you write. It´s funny, because instead of being an expat I just dream of getting out of my country, it´s not that I don´t like it, it´s just that everyday I get mad watching the news, corruption, corruption and more corruption...

Hola. The grass is always greener on the other side right? that must be part of being human. The news are just bad news. But it puts things into perspective and in many ways I am thankful not to live in other much more corrupted countries...
Patience... they say the asians have a lot of it... the only way to learn is to try it right? I am still learning....
